Welcome Aboard, Carina!

We’d like to say congratulations and give a huge warm welcome to Carina, the new lead teacher at Bright Beginnings Day School – Country!

Hello Parents,

My name is Carina Williams, and I am beyond excited to have the opportunity to be your child’s teacher! I am twenty-three years old and originally from Fairfield, Ohio, a small city outside of Cincinnati. My passion for children developed at a very early age. Growing up surrounded by younger cousins, nieces and nephews, I knew that I wanted to make a career out of caring for little ones. I graduated from Rockford East High School in 2012 and from there I dove right into the child care profession. After high school, I attended Cincinnati State Technical and Career College where I began pursuing a degree in education.

I have worked with children for over six years in positions ranging from teacher, caregiver and nanny. After a couple years of working in the field, I soon discovered that I was passionate for working with children with special needs as well as behavioral and emotional challenges. In 2016, I moved to Madison where I am currently enrolled at Madison College working toward an Associate of Arts degree.

My plans are to eventually become a social worker so I can use my experience of working with children. I’m a mother to a three-year-old, Camira Rae, who is such a ray of sunshine in my life. Some of my favorite things include spending time with family, ice cream, reading, cooking, collecting candles and thrift shopping. I consider myself an early childhood enthusiast and an advocate who is truly aware of the importance of not only cognitive development but also emotional and social development in the early childhood years. I am truly excited for our time together at Bright Beginnings Day School – Country (BBDS4), and I look forward to getting to know your little ones!
