In 2002, I recognized that Madison, WI and the surrounding communities in Dane County needed a strong day care program that gave parents assurance that their children were getting the best child care. So I started Bright Beginnings with our very first day care on Holt Circle. Our goal was to provide exceptional quality day care in a safe home-away-from-home environment. It was my commitment to that goal which enabled us to pursue licensing and accreditation.

Today we have six locations on the west side of Madison. All six are licensed and accredited, which is something I am very proud of. My passion for working with children as they grow and develop has not changed. Every day I get to watch as young individuals learn and develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. I am truly blessed to be a part of that journey.

My greatest joy though is my own family. We are kind of like the modern day Brady Bunch of a blended family with 10 total kids. If you have a child that attends BBDS or have visited one of our locations you may have met my two youngest kids, Jack (age 8) and Jude (age 4). Although several of our kids are on their own or away at college you can imagine life with the remaining 3 still at home is still pretty fast paced with school and sports. At every chance though I cherish the time with my husband just relaxing and enjoying our life.
